Single and Double refer to how many adults (13 and over) are sharing each room (total room occupancy). For example, if two adults wish to stay in the same room, the price would be the Double price, and this would be per person.
A Note on Bed Sizes (U.S. vs. London)
Just a friendly heads-up that bed sizes in London can be a bit different from what we’re used to in the U.S., and hotel rooms are often more cozy.
In general:
- A U.S. Queen bed is approximately 60” wide x 80” long
- A UK Double bed is approximately 53” wide x 75” long
- A Twin bed is approximately 38” wide x 75” long
- Rollaway beds may not fit in a room due to the room sizes in London.
Because of these differences, a room in London may feel smaller than a U.S. room. Bed types and exact dimensions can vary by hotel, but we want to be sure you’re aware of the distinction when selecting your room.
Note: Rollaway beds may not fit in a room due to the room sizes in London.
